Hi! My name is Scott. I’m currently a Student as Utah State University majoring in Marketing. I recently got in to barbecuing this summer. I built my own barrel smoker (ugly drum smoker) and I’ve been enjoying it ever since. When my professor in one my classes asked us to write a blog about something we’re interested in, I knew I would write it on smokin’ in a barrel.
The title of this blog includes two very important parts of any great bbq: The vessel for cooking (in my case the barrel) and the smoke! Of course there are many different things that contribute to great bbq and I hope to cover some of those things in this blog. After all, this is all about documenting/ compiling the things I’ve learned in my start to barbecue. I hope you enjoy!
